We spent a lot of time researching our photographer because I work with photography a lot in my job so am fussy about it and wanted to make sure we picked someone whose work showed that they put thought and care into what they did. We were also looking for something classic that would stand the test of time. We were drawn to the timeless feel and subtlety of Tomasz’s work. He has an amazing eye and frames things beautifully. Equally important was how the photographer we chose would work with us on the day. We were planning our wedding from abroad and didn’t have the opportunity to meet anyone in advance. Also, having been to so many weddings ourselves already, we were trying to plan a simple, relaxed but well-run day that our guests would really enjoy. We didn’t want fuss, someone who would stick out or use up a lot of our time. I had to go by Tomasz’s testimonials, which promised a smiing, gentle, quiet presence that would nonetheless manage to be in the right place at the right time, and that was exactly what we got. The church ceremony was very important to us. We’d asked our guests not to use phones and cameras so they could be in the moment with us. So I was worried I’d be distracted by Tomasz’s presence during the ceremony. I can honestly say we were both completely unaware he was there at all. Then, the end all you have once it is all over are your memories and your photographs, and Tomasz’s photographs did the wonderful job of picking up moments of the day we hadn’t even seen ourselves, creating new moments for us to enjoy. A friend of the family has already booked him for her wedding next year, having seen our photos. Our only regret is that he can’t come and document every family party for us! Thank you, Tomasz.
